Sure, if you get a chance.
If I remember things correctly, it’s for licensing reasons. OpenSSL has a
pleasant licence, GnuTLS is LGPL and GPL.
FreeBSD’s MP implementation leverages the OpenSSL code, so configuring
--with-bignum there involves OpenSSL. That would be just one dependency ...
ah well, there’ll be more application support with GnuTLS.
