Ah, that's a GNU make-ism. Since SRC_SRCS is only used in one place, it
won't hurt anything to change that to just "=". I'll make that change
in CVS. Thanks for pointing this out.
I never could get install to go through flawlessless. So I did
a make -i
Could you give us a transcript of what happens when you try to "make
install"? We can probably fix the problems, but only if you tell us
what they are.
When this crash happened I was doing Tools->Packages->Update

I don't see a backtrace anywhere. If the crash is repeatable, please
make it happen inside a debugger and mail us the program backtrace at
the point of the crash. If the crash is not repeatable, then we have
nothing useful to go on.
