This is very common with EsounD. Nothing we can do about it, ESD is
hell-spawn (see PROBLEMS for details), except not to compile in
support for ESD.
According to configure output, the hell-spawn is still conpiled in
automatically as of 21.5.6. If ESD is indeed hell-spawn, seems
like support for it should be dropped forthwith.
