Re: Python mode failures with xemacs

These have just recently been added to 21.5. (See syntax-ppss.el.) So it might work better now. I wanted to support go-mode (the go programming language) and these very same functions and more were missing in XEmacs. They have now been added. I'm using python quite a lot too so I could test a more recent version of python-mode if you need assistance. The version in XEmacs Packages have served me well though during the years so I haven't looked around for upgrades.
