I don't think this would work properly would it? It didn't look like
it. I think you'd be better off doing it the old fashioned way
(executing the 'where' inside of gdb).

You mentioned that this crash doesn't happen on 21.1.14, but only on
21.4.6. Can you please do 'M-x report-xemacs-bug' from within the
XEmacs that is giving you the problem.
Also, have you tried 21.4.8? What happens there?
