Do you mean gtk 1.x is abandoned (which I agree with), or something
else?
I can't speak for Marcus, but ISTR that Malcolm[1] agrees that it's
not worth doing anything with our GTK+ port until it's updated to GTK+
v2 APIs. I certainly would oppose anyone putting significant effort
into the v1 version myself.
