If I had my druthers, I think I'd go with openssl as the Gnubies

been through a fair amount of pain with gnutls, especially w.r.t.
Windows.
There are places in which gnutls is a better alternative, although I
don't remember exactly why. Some time ago, I had to switch from openssl
to gnutls for properly interfacing with gmail (I think).
