<rant>
Before you commit any updates to your packages, can you please make
sure that it builds in the xemacs-packages tree. If it doesn't,
simple, don't commit. I guess that means that you need a copy of the
xemacs-packages CVS module on your local machine, huh?
Please make sure that all the build targets work as expected. If your
not sure of anything go have a read of the packages info file (I've
recently updated it). Still can't figure it out? Ask on xemacs-beta
or ask me.
Don't ever say to yourself "...well, I think it's right, I'll just
commit it and see what happens...". If you're not sure, re-read the
previous paragraph.
If the latest version of your package needs some other wiz-bang
package that we don't currently have, this is what you should do in
this order:
Email me, explaining the situation, where I can find the
needed package.
Wait until I've added the new package to the tree. (I'll email
you letting you know)
Do a cvs update, check to make sure your package builds.
Commit your update.
<end rant>
Thank you.
We know return you to your normal programme.
