Well that is my gut feeling to - that it was after some cygwin change
the problem started. But I can't prove it. The black box wasn't turned
on!
Anyway, it doesn't say Cygwin is to blame, only that it could prove
good to look into changes in Cygwin to get an idea why we see this.
Maybe the easiest way to sort that out is to install an old version of
cygwin and try it. I'll see if I can swing a cygwin 1.5 install.
