Let's try this then: After starting xemacs -no-site-site with my .emacs in place, you will notice that the frame configuration does not agree with what I asked for in .emacs (see *initial-frame-plist-problem*). When you perform M-x problem again you will see that initial-frame-plist has duplicate property values now and they are not exactly what we asked for.
