Both of these are old. Try upgrading to 21.4[.11] and see if that
helps.
But be aware that the menus were re-organized in 21.4, so the paren
highlighting may take a bit of time to find.
The new organization is much more intuitive, so look for things where
you would expect them to be if you were looking the first time.
