Nope, nothing like that. But note for me the elc files were built
(successfully) by the vanilla 'make' step. . .
I could try your patch but that will take some time. Tomorrow
maybe. So before that I just want to check if you can get the make
install target to build. Does it build?
Yes -- I have no problem with
make install
and the result (emacs-version = "21.5 (beta33) \"horseradish\"
68f8d295be49 XEmacs Lucid") seems to work just fine.
