It looks like this only works if you don't require the packages from
your init.el file.
Could you clarify that? I have 2 load-library calls in my init.el.
They're to private libraries in a personal package, but those private
libraries do require/load some libraries from official XEmacs packages.
Does xemacs -vanilla show no lisp shadows?
