Crash with auctex

In XEmacs 21.5 (beta2) "artichoke" [Lucid] (i686-pc-linux, Mule) of Fri Aug 10 2001 on jan configured using `configure --prefix=/usr/local/Packages/Tools/XEmacs --with-sound=native --with-mule --x-libraries=/usr/X11R6/lib/ -without-msw' Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug and the precise symptoms of the bug: I was working on al latex document. When right-clicking, xemacs was asking for a master file. A file selector popped up. When selecting the proper file with the middle buttom of the mouse xemcs crashed.
