For the Scheme 48 Subversion logs, we recognize special
Subject: foo
lines at the beginning of the log message, and put those into the
Subject line of the log email. Should I try to do something similar
here?
Hi Michael, what was the rationale for the incompatible change to the
xemacs-cvs commit subject line?
I agree with Stephen that the old subject line was more informative,
inclusing the commiter's name.
Restricting the subject line to include commiter, cvs top-level
module, and theme information would win my vote.
Hopefully we can use patcher some day to commit compliant patches
automatically.
Best regards,
Adrian
