Your backtrace seems to be corrupt (the '~' characters). If you
happen to have a clear copy that would be nice (but don't kill
yourself to get it, it looks like the funcall in frame #8 is more
directly related).
Fortunately, I do have a clear copy of that backtrace ;) and I will
post it gziped. to protect from corrupt the content.
And next I will follow your message to try to find out what had
happend. Even though I don't have a core file, the crash is very
easily to be reproduced in my environment you know. But I am a newbie
of gdb and it may take sometime to show you the result.
