I think that would work. I think if you use xemeacs by itself after the
Sorry for jumping in late in the discussion, so I might be missing
something, but you can set the environment within XEmacs as well
(setenv "PAGER" "cat") or interactive too. All processes started from
XEmacs after that will see this environment variable.
