Font problem with 21.4.3 (and eventually 21.1.14)

Vincent> I am using "Courier New" at "9 pt" as regular font. This Vincent> font comes with bold, italic and bold italic form. I have Vincent> set this font with "menus" (first selecting Courier New, Vincent> then 9 pt). I was then unable to change some fonts, like Vincent> Bold in "customize-face". This font was 12pt high and I Vincent> was unable to change it to 9pt high (or 10 pt, or 16 pts) Vincent> (no effect in change). I was unable to change the family Vincent> too. It was a bit annoying since other fonts are 9pt Vincent> high. In the XEmacs start screen, the italic font for the Vincent> copyright was 12pt high too. This is a Customize problem, then. I've seen it with Japanese but assumed it was an interaction with my Japanese fonts. I'll ask the people who work on Customize to take a look at it. Jan? Hrvoje?
