Yes. Bill Perry has no time to work on GTK[1], none of the other core
developers have shown any interest to date (except that Ben Wing has
done some refactoring of window system stuff, including GTK, for
21.5), and nobody else has submitted anything but bug reports and a
couple of trivial initializations. No workers => no work. :-/
