I know what you mean, but pointing and clicking on a
URL sent to me in email is a whole lot easier than
having to open a new tab, then highlight it, then paste
it in the browser's location bar.
So then ... what's the procedure for getting the patch
so I can see if it works for me. It's been a couple of
years (at least) since I've tried to patch xemacs
files.

Nothing, I guess, other than I've used Gnus and its
predecessors since olden days. Guess I've got to learn
some new habits. I'll do that. Thanks for the
suggestion.
