 You should just install the cedet-common XEmacs package, which matches
 the JDE XEmacs package.  I'm puzzled about this problem:  The
 dependencies are all properly recorded in the JDE package.  I'm wildly
 guessing it's related to the Windows installer. 
That's a good guess, Mike.  The Windows installer includes jde, but
not cedet-common.  I will add cedet-common to the next Windows
installer kits.
Pete - are you saying that this bug still appears even though you have
cedet-common installed?
