When we started to discuss the idea of a release on the review board,
I was one of the "widgets off by default on X" advocates. Let me state that
I've reconsidered my point of view on this. Andy's recent patches have fixed
all the bugs I was experimenting with widgets, including very long lasting
ones. As a consequence, I would not any more be against turning widgets on by
default.
However, you should know that I don't use tabs, so I have not given
them any testing period. All I'm saying is thus not applicable to that part of
Andy's code.
