Only Vin makes changes to the official 21.4 source. That's how we
manage the stable branch.
If you want it to happen for the next release of 21.4, it would help
to provide a patch. Don't forget the ChangeLog. I'm going out of
town tomorrow so won't be able to do so for at least a week. (Not
that there's a great hurry, AFAIK Vin doesn't have a release planned
at the moment.)
