Your patch is nice and merged it with my changes but i have some questions, ok?
Reading your patch I found that you decided not to define `string-as-unibyte'
and `string-as-multibyte' functions. Could you explain your idea, please?
May be these functions should be defined in mule core for compatibility
reasons?
