Finally I got around to experimenting with the rcfiles.el just find
that it is not included in the xemacs-base/Makefile so it is not
installed. Any reason for that?
Presumably just an oversight. An uninstalled library is hardly
useful!
N.B. There are a few cases where Lisp files are treated as data or
documentation and installed in non-standard places such as etc. So
automating building the list ELCS requires both creating an exception
convention and converting existing Makefiles to use it. Tedious....
A lint function might be a good idea, though.
