I'm not a big user of Unicode so maybe this is wrong. But, it seems
like this should be the default with mule-ucs.

I've been using UTF-8 everywhere in BeOS for a decade, and even GNU/
Linux is getting there finally, so :)
(btw yes I still intend to finish the BeOS port ;)
