Python mode failures with xemacs

apparently there are significant compatibility problems with Python-mode and xemacs. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/829442 These bugs are severe enough that they keep me from using the navigation features that have been added in my attempts to create a more accessible Emacs. Unfortunately, I need to get work done so that means go find another editor. I really regret because I was looking to help out. I may still do so after I get set up with a new editor.
