be approaching the xsymbol author to see if he/she wants to maintain
the XEmacs package version, if they decline would you be willing to
step up to the plate?
I have to discuss this with Christoph of course; in principle yes,
however I consider x-symbol as a rather sophisticate package quite
beyond my lisp knowledge and I am not sure that I am qualified for this.
