I build only non-mule builds and never have a problem.
No-one said you have a problem, the point is that non-Mule support adds
support work from our perspective.
It does have the upside that sometimes you can narrow down a problem better
if it happens on a Mule build but not a non-Mule build, and when debugging
performance problems it is a help to drop the O(N) byte-char conversion
code.
I assume you know you have to delete all the *.elc in the XEmacs
tree
for non-mule builds. They are built with mule and cause all sorts of
grief :(
They error on load, at least, right?
