made available on the web site.
There is no staging. The only difference is that I don't publicly announce
pre-releases, but the pre-releases are always intended to be stable. I
guess the process could use some work. Ideally we would keep the previous
"stable" release around and put both in setup.ini so that people could
choose which to install.
