Getting the first copy took me some time but now there is an intro on
the web. Look here:

After getting the first clone it is a simple matter of doing "hg pull"
and "hg update".
For automated merging, I have
[extensions]
fetch =
in my ~/.hgrc, and I call hg fetch instead of the hg pull / hg update
combination.
I think it is much easier and faster now getting the latest
sources. (I have yet to learn how to commit but that is another
thing.)
