Threads are not harder conceptually. It's just that you need more
stuff around them like synchronization mechanisms, communication
channels etc. etc.
Right. One thing that has crossed my mind during this debate is that
if XEmacs is to provide useful multi-threading support, then
potentially vast amounts of code will need to be re-written regardless
of any implementation issues.
