Not really, it's your package.
But wouldn't it be better to (1) not put it in the SUMO and (2) add
a check for Linux as the default rule for the makefile, with a
successful exit accompanied by a warning that EICQ was not built
because it only works on Linux?
Or you could create a linux-packages hierarchy and treat it as we do
Mule, including deprecating the practice of having anything in it!
Although Emacs Lisp should be write-once, run-anywhere, we don't
always achieve the ideal....
