Well, that is probably a bug. This from my init-files gives a hint
(setq hyperb:mouse-buttons 3) ; A hack to fix missing
; variable from hyperbole?
This variable was defined in hyperbole 4.18 that once was a part of
the package tree. For different reasons I started to maintain
Hyperbole for GNU based on an earlier version. This version is now
part of the package tree.
So there is likely some things that would need fixing to get the
packages back together. Maybe just trying my simple definition can get
you further!?
If there are things that need fixing in Hyperbole I can of course
assist. Patches or suggestions are welcome. This issue seems to be
such a thing. Maybe it is time to get rid of that init-file-fix. ;-)

I have at occasions used it with python. For C++ it is quite
outdated. The new!? stuff in C++ like namespaces, templates etc
doesn't work well with oo-browser.
