Unfortunately the pdf's (at least the new-user-intro-letter thta I
checked) are also ugly (sorry Darryl and Kazuyuki). They are made with
bitmap fonts instead of Type 1 fonts.
They really should be redone using texi2pdf on a modern teTeX 1.0/Tex
Live-4 installation.
