Hmmm. Well, if you have configure scripts in there, we need to figure
out where they came from and why they are getting invoked. How much
network bandwidth have you got? Is it too much to ask you to do a fresh
CVS checkout? I would really like to have you check for the presence of
the configure scripts and evidence that they have been executed
(existence of config.something) after each of the following steps:
(1) Fresh checkout from CVS
(2) Top-level configure
(3) Top-level make
if it isn't too much trouble. I'm still curious why this is happening
to you and not to me, but we'll get it sorted out eventually.
