I'm planning on automatically testing at least:
- optimized and debug builds
- Linux and Solaris 2.6
- Mule and non-mule
- Latest gcc and Sun native compilers
I hope to add Cygwin at least as a tested platform.
Can we add HP here!? Well, it may be difficult to automate the testing
because of potential firewall issues (all my development machines are
behind the HP firewall). But I can do it manually or think of a
socksified solution. I definitly want HP-UX 11.x and HP native
compilers to be tested.
9. Work on getting a permanent home for XEmacs on a machine
administered exclusively by us, with a reasonably high-bandwidth
and stable network connection.
There was a discussion a while ago on a new disk for
tux.org but I
guess that debat is gone. Anyway, what type of machine are we looking
for (specs/OS)?
