Here's my vote against bzip. Obtaining bzip for the UNIX box at work is
no hassle. At home I use commercial WinZip that supports tar and gz. If
we start compressing with bzip, that's another thing I have to maintain
on this platform. It's hard enough gathering the disparate pieces to
make XEmacs behave under NT. Please do not add another to the list.
Everybody (sic) has a local call to their ISP, right? Start the
download, go to sleep, it's there in the morning. That's what I do.
