Sure, but the particular cases changed (a) don't, and (b) there's no
argument to format them anyway, which is an error (except in the case
of the rarely-used %n conversion spec). I don't see any way this
patch can hurt.
I think that the reason something got "fixed" is that editres gets
rebuilt with up-to-date libraries and macros. I have no idea why that
worked though.
