The typographic concepts 'em-space' and 'en-space' still apply even to
fonts which do not actually have an em or en glyph. For instance, Zapf
Dingbats has those 2 values defined.
Whether your actual X or NT or what have you font lists a correct value
for em and en spaces is a different question. ;)
