The latest gnus is, too: $ hg branches default 291:c6cd10c41331 gnus-5_8-branch 279:79049d8d2989 This is actually causing me some grief. Ville used to maintain the Fedora packages for XEmacs, and apparently decided to move to the branched versions of auctex and gnus at some point. Now I'm stuck merging those branches into the mainline every time I want to make a Fedora release, or else I will have to make the versions of those 2 packages move backwards for Fedora users.
