Take a buffer portion, mark it and narrow it with `C-x n n'. It is
important that the beginning of the narrowed portion is *not* at the
beginning of a line.
Now, press `C-x n w' to remove the narrowing. For me, the beginning
of the narrowed region still appears to be at the beginning of line.
Only after actually going to that part of the buffer and pressing C-p
or C-b does the beginning of the formerly narrowed region shift to
where it belongs to.
This has been there for quite some time (at least since 20.2, probably
since 19.12 or longer), and is likely the result of `widen' not
getting the attention of the relevant redisplay structures. FSFmacs
does not exhibit this behaviour.
