non-focus bar cursor is not displayed?

Jeff Sparkes writes: I believe so. These days, the window manager will decorate the window so you will know whether it's focused or not, but back in the day you couldn't count on that. If it gets in your way, rip it out. It's your branch. If it's not a big deal, it's probably not a good idea to rip it out because somebody will complain and then you have to put the feature back, probably with an option to enable/disable it. ;-) But of course good version control means never having to say you're sorry!
