I have just successfully checked out two copies of the source tree and
the packages. AFAICT everything went flawlessly. I did get the
following messsage though
cvs server: warning: cannot write to history file /pack/xemacscvs/CVSROOT/history:
Permission denied
not sure whether that is a bug or a feature.
APA> 8. Go to bed.
That one will be a challenge!
