still crashing in VM

updated and rebuilt this AM, still crashing in the same way that was reported in this thread: http://www.xemacs.org/list-archives/xemacs-beta/200003/msg00128.html but now even my C stack is almost useless (no lisp backtrace, as usual): Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
