I agree with you Stephen. Lets not hide it, but fix it.
In my original post I was trying to determine if the problem was
XEmacs related or me related. I'm pretty sure now that the problem is
XEmacs related because other programs that I have which use Athena
widgets aren't affected.
When I get a bit of spare time I'll see what I can do about it.
