Hamish> Garbage collections are taking 11 seconds. This seems excessive. I also complained about this a while ago, but Martin assured me it was normal. Let me reiterate that it isn't. On the positive side, just yesterday I signed up a pretty smart Master's candidate to do this thesis on replacing the XEmacs GC.
