I can't tell, the point with 1.2 that is "dead" will say no
new
features will get implemented there, the advantage is that, that
what's there will not change anymore. GTK 2 brings with it a lot of
new things an unfortunatly a quite different API.
I would like to help porting it to GTK 2.x. just the point is that
I'm not member of some university or get my money from elswhere. I
assume it would take around 2-3 months full time to do something
useful with GTK 2.x and XEmacs. If I find myself running a profitable
business I would probably bail out for a while but I have to get
profitable first....
