Hmmm. I didn't have this in my configs, but I _did_ try in the past if the
menu "Tools/VC/Load VC" (which actually does a require 'vc-hooks) changes
anything for vc-annotate, but it didn't.
Now I've put (require 'vc-hooks) in my init, the menu is constructed at
startup alright, but the annotate still doesn't obey to the customized font
faces.
I tried this with XEmacs-21.5-b8 and with XEmacs-21.1.4 (which is the default
in the rest of our network) and it always does the error, no matter if
vc-hooks was required or not.
Once again, doing M-x load-file ~/.xemacs/custom.el fixes the colors of a
current annotate buffer, but the next time I invoke vc-annotate on some other
buffer, the colors are again screwed.
Argh. I don't have a clue what's going on here, it Just Works for me in
21.4.9 (and I can't currently test with other versions). Could
something in your custom.el or init.el cause this? Anybody else see
this problem?
