see any of these problem there. (However it does not do the "bindist"
builds. It does "make install". There are no system installed packages on the

On the other hand I have seen strange behavior for building the xemacs binary
that seems to be related to interference of the build with installed
packages. So I would not be surprised if that could pop up also when building
a new package.
